Switzerland

We were really busy this weekend working on a special project for Baby Will. Daisy and Duke were very curious about what was going on...

More on that later this week!

For two weeks during June Matt went to Switzerland for work. Luckily for the first week he was traveling with Peter. Since I am a major scaredy cat I got to stay at Peter and Parker's house! They were so great to me. I don't know what I would have done for those two weeks if it wasn't for the Slaton's!

Matt had a great time in Switzerland. We quickly learned when we could talk each day. When I was getting off work Matt was going to bed. Some of our talks were pretty interesting since Matt was half way asleep. While Matt was gone he sent me pictures of Switzerland, and I sent him pictures of the cats and my growing baby bump.

I never knew how long two weeks was until Matt left. I missed him as soon as he left for the airport. I have informed him that he can never leave me for that long again!

Our Little Cutie: Gender Reveal

Tuesday was the big day! We know know the sex of Baby Swen!! Since I found out that I was pregnant I was sure I was having a boy. Matt was on the boy train too! We were so excited to learn that Baby Swen is healthy. After checking on Baby Swen's health the ultrasound tech said "I know what you're having!". To which we replied, "WHAT?!?". Well...before you get to find out here is a new picture of Baby Swen.

For Matt: It's hard to believe almost 4 years ago we were getting engaged, and now we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our baby! I cannot wait to see you with our baby. I am so ready for endless hours of entertainment!! :)

Daisy and Duke are so excited about Baby Swen! Actually...I don't think they have quite figured things out. Daisy is learning that when she jumps on my stomach she gets in trouble, and Duke is learning that pack 'n plays and changing tables are in fact not for his lounging habit. This should be interesting. :)

Flashback

A year ago today we were beginning our trip to Europe! We had such an amazing time. I'm reminiscing with some pictures. :)

First stop Ireland!

Next we somehow made it to London to see G and A.

Next stop: Paris, France.

"Practice" Mother's Day

Matt wasn't sure what to do for Mother's Day so we had a "Practice" Mother's Day. We had a great time! Sunday morning we went out for brunch and that night we went to Mellow Mushroom. Matt knows the way to this girl's heart. :)

I found a print awhile ago that I love. It says I love you as big as the sky.

Of course Matt could not do any work on the nursery without the supervision of Duke and Daisy.

I also received these beautiful flowers from my parents. As well as a cute stuffed animal from Melanie and Dave.

I feel so lucky to be so loved. I had a great "Practice" Mother's Day and look forward to my next Mother's Day with Baby Swen.

Last weekend we had some special visitors!! Sarah, Graham, and Maddie came for the weekend. We had a great weekend filled with lots of laughs, happy tears, good food, and fun!! Here are a few pictures to capture our time together!
