Claire is so silly. She is full of energy; dancing on the coffee table, moving kitchen chairs, standing on the kitchen table, and riding her bike are a few of her current favorite things to do. She is always trying to keep up with Will and Ellie. She has always adored Will. Ellie thought of Claire as more of a babydoll for a long time, but Claire is finally starting to warm up to Ellie which makes Ellie so happy. She loves to give her hugs now (sometimes they end with a bite or push but...baby steps).
Claire is finally starting to talk more these days. Some of her words are: wada bata (water bottle), mama (or mamaeeee when she tries to say mommy), dada, Will, ELLYeee (Ellie), Day-e (Daisy), doggy, candy, no, ya, mo (more), yodurt (yogurt), Goooooo (she loves to yell at the tv while watching football- I wonder where she gets that from...), mimi, gee gee, nonna, grandpa, book, Piper, hello, hi, bye bye.
Some of her favorite books are Peek-a-who?, That's Not My Snowman, and Old McDonald Had a Farm. She loves to bring them over and plop down in your lap. If you're not careful she will chuck a book at you. Sometimes she will even sit with Will or Ellie and let them read to her.
Claire loves babydolls just like her big sister. She loves music and dancing. Sometimes she even loves dancing with her baby dolls!
Eating these days can be tricky. Most of Claire's food ends up on the floor. Her favorites are: yogurt, mac and cheese, graham crackers, cookies, chick-fil-a, strawberries, taco meat, waffles, and apples. She likes to hold hands while we sing the blessing and then say Amen. She holds out her hands a few times during meals to pray.
Claire takes one nap a day and usually sleeps through the night. She loves to shout "AMEN" at the end of her bedtime prayer. Most nights she will lunge for her crib, but lately she has wanted to get in some snuggle time first.
We love our Claire Bear so much!
