Summer: Part 4 (DC)

After visiting Matt's family in VA, we headed to Fairfax (outside of DC) to see my Grandma Jane and Alf. They are some of the neatest people. We loved hearing about all of their travels, and they happen to be awesome tour guides!! I still cannot believe I forgot to get a picture of Will with them. It makes me so sad! We had a quick visit, but we had a great time.

 It was so sunny!!

After leaving Fairfax we decided to stop in Knoxville, TN and have a mini family vacation. We just couldn't make Will do two days in a row in the car. We had a great time! Saturday morning we walked to Tennessee's stadium from our hotel. We got some looks in our Clemson gear, but we didn't care! The rest of our time we took it easy and ate a lot of good food. We tried to take Will to the pool, but the water was freezing. He was not a fan.

Well that was our Summer!! I sure am welcoming Fall and the cooler temperatures! Can't wait to make some more memories. Pumpkins, apples, leave piles...here we come!
